We welcome you to join SSMS PTA! While we would LOVE to have you at meetings and help out, membership does not REQUIRE you to do ANYTHING. Your $10.50 membership dues help to keep the PTA running, provides grants (available to students & staff), provides lunches for teachers occasionally, and helps to fund campus improvements! By getting involved at your child’s school you can help make positive changes. Local PTAs play an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs, student and staff grants, and social events. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone!
